I introduced my 12 year old daughter to this challenge and challenged her to come up with a photo of her own.

Here it is, It’s called: Red and Dead.

She now has the bug (plus a developing talent) and will be contributing to the weekly challenges in future.

Here is my entry for this week.

With its panoramic views over the river Clyde and the Cowal Hills, Lyle Hill has to be one of the most beautiful places in Scotland. It is situated 426 feet (130mtrs) above sea level in the West of Scotland, in a place called Greenock.

This is where I was born and grew up before I emigrated to The Netherlands. My family lives only a stones throw from Lyle Hill, It’s always my first and last port of call whenever im in Scotland.

I have very fond memories of spending a lot of time here with my Grandad and our dog Winsey who sadly passed away about 12 years ago, Winsey was laid to rest on our favourite spot close to Lyle Hill, it’s a quiet secluded little patch unseen by most. This is the place we called the little bit o’Heaven.
