Here is a few photo’s of a recent trip home. I often forget how spectacular this country is, Then I think and then I remember!

No, honestly I’m not following you, I was going this way too.

  1. I love Scotland … in part because of my ancestry but also because it is so very beautiful. I can’t wait to go back for a visit one day. … Thanks for sharing. Cheerz! Dorothy 🙂

I was born and grew up in this wonderful country, I have learned to appreciate it more the longer i have been away. Luckily i visit very often, approximately 3/4 times per year.

  2. This is one of the places I would love to travel to. Thanks for the pictures.

    Suchngorgeous photos!!

  4. Always nice to hit the old stomping grounds.

  5. Your pictures really make me want to finally visit Scotland. It must be a really really beautiful country with its amazing landscapes and it’s many castles!

    • eeryweerywoe says:

Well unfortunately I didn’t appreciate it when I lived there for more than 20 years, it is only when I have been away for more than 10 years I have started to appreciate the wonders it has to offer.
I now live in the Netherlands where there isn’t so much as a hill to climb, I’m lost!

  6. Margie says:

Oh my, you’re from Scotland? My dad was born in Glasgow and my maiden name is Robertson! I’ve never been, but always heard it is beautiful! I love nothing better than a Scottish brogue. My Dad could actually turn one on and off. Cool.

    • eeryweerywoe says:

I certainly do hail from the great land, glad to hear that you have some Scottish blood pumping through those veins. A “Scottish brogue” is a very nice alternative to a Scots accent! I have successfully converted my wife’s perfect (Dutch) English accent into Scottish brogue, much to her despair.
Glad to have bumped into you around these regions! Look efter yersel lassie….!

    Such a beautiful place.
