I introduced my 12 year old daughter to this challenge and challenged her to come up with a photo of her own.
Here it is, It’s called: Red and Dead.
She now has the bug (plus a developing talent) and will be contributing to the weekly challenges in future.
Here is my entry for this week.
good pictures and tell your daughter she has a good eye. π
Thanks, she is very proud of the support!
Thanks for the warm acceptance!
Your daughter’s photo is lovely!
Thanks Sid!
Uh oh, you better watch out! Your daughter is giving you a run for your money! That’s awesome!
Thanks Margie
Awesome! Your daughter should definitely continue with her work.
She certainly surprised me with this one.
Also the title is very clair. Btw I like your own entry also very much – tropical feeling π
Thanks Cassie
Great choices for two different interpretations of this challenge. Congrats on a wonderful job to both of you! π
Thank you
Both of you made a very impressive contribution to this week’s them! Your daughter’s picture is artistic, while yours is stunning.
Thanks for the kind words
Brill. Good eye for a shot, too.
Your daughter has a good eye for art. She’s quite talented. I look forward to seeing more of her contributions. π
Thanks, I’m sure she will be glowing when reads these comments.
I really like the first photo π
You both did well – each gets a thumbs up. I have also introduced a family member who now can’t wait for the new challenge to be announced each Friday π
Yeah isn’t it great? There are a few other challenges kicking around like Sunday stills and Macro Monday you may want to introduce them too?
I love Macro Monday but that is for expert photographers π
Tell your daughter congrats! Watch out: she might produce better pictures than you! I’m also teaching my nine-year old daughter photography. Isn’t it great getting them involved in our hobbies as well? Tell her good luck!
By the way, your shot is beautiful!
It certainly gets them using their creative minds.
Your daughter has a great eye for photography, and chose well for the topic. I look forward to seeing more from her! And your sunset with the figures in the forefront is spectacular.
Nice shots from both of you π
Kids, and photographers, aren’t shy of getting down on the ground to get the shot. The best thing about teaching kids photography is digital cameras. Woohoo! No more wasted rolls of film. Love your golden sunset, so still.
Thanks for dropping by and i look forward to watching her develop
The colors clash yet blend in to create beautiful pictures
Like father, like daughter! Both are really great captures!
Thanks for dropping by.
love that first one
Thanks Jo, She is walking around with a huge head at the moment. Bless her.
Your daughter has a great eye! Love that. π
